-I am a licensed [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amateur_radio|amateur radio operator]] since 1997 and my callsign is DL7BJ, Handle Tom. I am QRV in CW (Morse code, also known as the big bang of the internet) and Digimodes on shortwave. I am a member of DARC e.V. [[http://www.darc.de/|DARC e.V.]] [[http://www.darc.de/distrikte/i/18/|DOK I18]] and a few smaller international clubs. Besides amateur radio, analog AF & HF electronics and model railroading are my hobbies. I am not the "radio operator", but rather the maker and have made the amateur radio license, so that the emission of high frequency is legalized.I work as a system administrator with focus on infrastructure, security and unixoid operating systems. +I am a licensed [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amateur_radio|amateur radio operator]] since 1997 and my callsign is DL7BJ, Handle Tom.
